niang turns 21!

i know i have been so lag!
niang's birthday was on 3rd june and i am only updating about her birthday now!
ok, it is niang's 21st and dallan's 22nd [yes they have the same birthday!]

so there were 2 celebrations, one on 2nd june at wala wala
which honestly i didn't really enjoy it, because quite obviously, i am not a metal fan
and so i have NO IDEA what they were singing and all!
but bailey's with milk is nice! :D



the next day we had a nice lunch at MBS pizzeria mozza!
the 9 of us shared 5 pizzas so we got to try all of them

and this is the really beautiful card that dallan and vic took charge of making for niang! :)
really really good job! :D

and then we had the lychee martini cake from pine garden's
they are known for their cakes but i think it wasn't really up to standards probably because it melted in the car :(

we went to harry potter exhibition [kiasu us, it was only the 2nd day of opening and we went alr!]
cheryl really turned into this little kid haha, everything was "damn cool" and she was "damn excited" so cute!


in order to make my 24bucks worth,
i even fought with the little kids to try my hand at quidditch!
i really like hermione and prof snape's wands but they were far too expensive for me to even consider buying them home :(


even the souvenir pictures were so expensive, we had to resort to doing this :(


afterwhich, we proceeded onto andy warhol's exhibition.
NOT AN ARTSY PERSON HERE, so don't have much to say about the drawings and photos.
ohhhh, but he looks cool when he's in drag though! :D

anyway, the girls folded 21 roses and we made niang hand them out to little kids as part of her birthday's "THANKSGIVING"

it is always a joy to give and what's the best than to make the day of little ones around us!

i love to see kids smile because they have no pretence or anything
the smile really comes right from the bottom of their hearts :)
 
we all got into the mood of giving, and soon after, cheryl and i joined in as well!


and tada, we are done, feeling exhaustedly satisfied.
good food, good friends, wonderful exhibition
and all these smiles on their little faces is the perfect end to the day :)

camp's over!
and really, i feel the fatigue crashing into me :(
no good being too old for camps yea?

still have more camps to come in time, but well, wouldn't be staying over and all, so still ok :)

ok, shall do a brief recap of engin camp 2012!
cheryl was my other half throughout the whole camp, we do everything together and it is really wonderful having a girlfriend around all the time, i am missing her so bad!
how to survive when she leaves for korea for SIX WEEKS?? :(

anyway, back to engin camp.
the councillors were all having their day 0s and some messages from some of them got me really hyped up about camp! i know, don't judge, so old already still going for all these freshmen camps <- according to my mum haha
cheryl got a little excited for camp too :)
so next day, we decided to go down at the reporting time 8am, one must understand that for normal college seniors who have nothing to do during the holidays, it is almost illegal to wake up before 10am!
so for the first time in god knows how long, i woke up just in time to see the sun rise
we wore red, excited just like little freshies [we were supposed to act freshie too la] cheryl reached earlier, i went with yuge [people freshie ma, very shy one :p]
ok ok, i know it is starting to sound really sleep inducing
so picture time :)
