C for consinette!

babes of 4C!



last sunday the people of 4C gathered for a small gathering at MEDZ
for food, birthdays and laughter, that's to summaries the gathering!

out of the different classes i have been in,
i wouldn't say i am a very active member in them [anti social me :( ]
and most of the time, by the time it is graduation, we all bid goodbye and this is more like
good bye, good riddance.

so i am extremely thankful i was part of 4C, 4c is a class that started off without cliques.
so it was initially weird for me because i only feel comfortable in cliques where there is a sense of belonging.
but i learned to love how people can actually be so bonded in a big group.
ultimately, after 2 years, there are bound to be cliques and all, but our spirit as a class was never shortchanged as a result.

soon it was time for JC.
even though half of 4C ended up in NJ, half of them still went elsewhere.
and after JC, it comes the big chapter of university for the girls and botakheads for the boys.
but amazing, somehow we do manage to meet up in the month of may because it is the birthday month of kokleong, ziyi and yishi!

and this meetup was again FUN!
i love the high-ness of the boys in 4C
they managed to break any ice that we might have incurred from not seeing each other for a long period of time.
first thing, weishuen said to me when i arrived was, "eh, so how's little miss engineer?"
[referring to this blog's title]
hahaha!
the whole table decided to share our food, so we really ordered food from different Mediterranean places and share among all of us
:D

so now, all the botakheads have ORD-ed and awaiting university, woah, here's to their new chapter in life yea?
i think most of the boys are going into NUS so yay, might still see them around school!

zhengpin turns 21!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ZHENGPIN!
i know samuel's new room's designs have raised a bit of differing opinions
but i really like the whole 'i am king' concept!
haha, appeals to the child in me!

have been down with a sore throat since monday ><

don't like the feeling of being sick really, and sore throat isn't just sore throat a minor thing

sore throat is the thing that leads to flu, cough and even fever :(

have been sleeping so much i feel like a pig really

but oh well, sleep is good i guess

alright shall update more [or rather just spam pictures] of the 21st celebrations recently!

vic's 21st!

there are some issues which i am not entirely pleased with like how some people should really just take it to their own responsibility for the planning and all.

but oh well, everything's over and the best thing is that whoever should be happy is happy yea?

dinner was at dapaolo at rochester park!

the waiting wasn't fantastic either.

and of course, no one's fault for that.

S and I reached at 8pm sharp, so punctual aren't we? ;)

and jason and niang were caught in a jam, so everything was delayed.

and S and I while waiting do the most natural thing that comes to mind - CAMWHORE!

 

and then J and niang arrived!

and of course, we have to camwhore with the camwhore king no?

i apologise gravely for the grainy pictures, that place has such bad lighting it is just horrible for taking pictures.

but the ambience is really good. and the best thing is they serve water in wine glasses ^^

 

that night, i drank 8 glasses of water ><

i got the crabmeat pizza because i was famished!

and this is niang's smoked salmon pizza!

it was really good her's!

the other dish i was particularly impressed with was S' salad, i didn't remember what is the name but they have these small cherry tomatoes lookalike which in actual fact were watermelons cut into small spheres!

and this is the cake! one and only in singapore yea :)

oh ya, and another thing we were particularly amused by

JASON'S HAIR!

yup, so that's vic's 21st celebration dinner!

oh and jason looked REALLY GOOD that day.

and i am not being sarcastic or anything, he looked tanned and toned

a far cry from the curved cut fbts wearing guy we all see around raffles' hall during exam period

girls, he's still single! so call him maybe? :)

haha, not being judgemental here, but guys carrying girls' bags? HAHA DALLAN

but oh well, whatever floats their boat yea? :D

have been really busy for the past few days, all thanks to 21st and all
but it is all but really worth it in my opinion.
there is nothing better than to celebrate a friend's milestone with her!

so had 2 21st recently!

choo choo train shoot away

one fine day
yuanhong [photographer friend] decided he wanted to start shooting people instead of scenery
one step up i would say!

so we all met up at the railway tracks to shoot

the weather was being very mean to us, one moment rain, one moment sun, the most absurd thing was raining while the sun was out!

but in a way, it was a good thing because it wasn't so hot! but that weather encouraged mozzies to descend from their homes and start attacking innocent humans :(


nevermind, just put on a nice front and smile for the camera!
i really like the skirt i am wearing! it is called a waterfall skirt :)

and like how she puts it herself, niang has reached nirvana in terms of jumpshots!
she can never look unglam while jumping, the same cannot be said of me and S sadly

in conclusion, yuanhong is a tortuous photographer, but he produces results [nice pictures!]
haha alright, kidding about the tortuous part though!

so many 21st, so little time

continuation for yuge's 21st party!

met up early to work on the humongous birthday card, which i have to say, we are extremely proud to have finished it [and it look quite decent yea?] despite the lack of artistic talent :)


and our ability to cooperate as a team really amazes me! how someone else will just automatically carry on with something someone left off etc


anyway we decided to walk from raffles place to MBS
not a short way there, but extremely nostalgic! how long has it been since rag?
and not to mention, the eskimo outlet near promontory was opened, despite it being a weekend ^^

my own bubble tea ranking goes like it
1. eskimo

we reached the shoppes [it is just pronounced as shops, i don't get the act chim fashion of adding the 'pe'!]
shopped around, and our conclusion - aimer bikinis are gorgeous but EXTREMELY expensive

we had some commotion trying to decode the room number and to use the lift.
well, but that's for us to know only of course haha
the room was on the 30th floor and the view is totally breathtaking, zijing just had to take a picture!
 
and of course me too :D



again, i am extremely proud of what we did!


if you noticed we look a little different, that's because of the eyeliner's magic!

this is q funny, because when the cake came out and the birthday girl took centre stage, everyone's cameras just came out
haha, we had to siam and stand a side because none of us have nice cameras [iphone not counted!]
so when everyone started taking the birthday girl, the other view was way funnier i just have to capture that instead heh!

this is everyone. i think all of yuge's friends all very pretty leh!
us, her secschool friends, her jc friends angela and marisa and her uni friends, rachel, christine and amanda!

the only game we played was taboo, ok i call it cheating taboo instead because we can do actions as well heh. christine, the girl in turquoise in the picture above, was kind of like the gamemaster
see, that's natural leadership for you!
we all had a good laugh over mainly zijing's bimboness [hehe] and it made everyone warmed up to each other a bit :)


the food's good! being the pig i am, i kept eating and eating, really nonstop!
i finished up the salmon sushi when i realised everyone's food consumption rates were slowing down
then i worked into the other sushis, and then attacked the kwehs and strawberries
oh and after we realised we have forgotten about the cake, hehe i cut myself a huge slice ^^

must learn to look at the camera next time!

everyone else left so it was just the 4 of us left.


so we went up to the infinity pool! thankfully we reached a little before 11pm so we were still allowed entry

singapore's really beautiful at night!

 

yay top of the world!

craziness prevails back in the hotel room, took lots of crazy ass videos and all which should never ever see the light, but all in the name of fun!

so to conclude this 21st,

zhangyuge, i love you, and your life is just starting to be fabulous!

here's to many more glamourous years!

another epic thing occurred. we missed the last train home :( so i am very grateful to ethan [mel's bf, also my course mate!] for coming to fetch us home!!

oh and thankfully, they are another couple i don't feel uncomfortable around, if not combined with the lethargy and everything, i might just puke from all the PDA. :)

anyway,
